YOM BEAUTY
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 8th June 2026
1. About us
- YOM Beauty Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15912786, registered office 94-96 Seymour Place, London W1H 1NB, United Kingdom), is the seller and your contracting party for all orders, wherever in the world they are delivered.
- We sell and dispatch our products from the United Kingdom. Each contract is formed in, and governed by, the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the local law of your country of residence.
- Contact: hello@yombeauty.com. VAT number: GB 497 5976 05.
2. Agreement to terms
By accessing or using our websites, mobile experiences, and online services (collectively, the “Site”), you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any policies referenced here (for example, Returns and Refunds, Shipping, and our Cookie Notice). Please read them carefully and keep a copy for your records. These Terms apply to purchases made directly from us through the Site; if you buy YOM products from an authorised retailer or reseller, your purchase is governed by that seller’s terms, not these. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.
3. Eligibility
You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your location to place orders (generally 18+).
4. Product classification
YOM products are cosmetics. They are not food and are not intended or sold for consumption. Where we describe ingredients as “food-grade”, we mean that those ingredients are sourced to a food-grade quality standard. We choose that standard because lip products are subject to incidental ingestion through normal use. This describes our ingredient sourcing standard only. It is not a representation that any product is food, is edible, or is suitable for consumption, and our products are not to be eaten.
5. Accounts
- Keep your credentials confidential and secure. You are responsible for activities under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for suspected fraud, security risks, or violations of these Terms or law.
6. Product information
- We aim to display accurate descriptions, ingredients, pricing, availability, and images. Actual colours/finishes may vary by device.
- We may change or discontinue products, bundles, or prices at any time.
7. Orders and contract formation
- Your order is an offer to buy; we accept when we send a shipping/dispatch confirmation email.
- We may refuse or cancel any order (e.g., pricing/stock errors, suspected fraud, trade restrictions). If we cancel after charging you, we will refund you.
8. Pricing, taxes, and payment
- Prices are shown in the currency indicated for your region. The price, together with any applicable taxes, duties, and shipping, is calculated and shown to you at checkout before you place your order.
- For international orders, our checkout calculates and collects any import duties and taxes due in your destination country at the time of purchase (a landed-cost basis), so there is normally nothing further to pay on delivery. If a destination cannot be served on this basis, we will make that clear at checkout.
- Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout.
- We may use third-party services for payment processing, fraud screening, and credit checks (without affecting your credit score unless explicitly stated).
9. Shipping and delivery
- We dispatch orders from the United Kingdom. Shipping options, carriers, timing estimates, and fees are shown at checkout and on our Shipping page.
- International delivery, customs clearance, and any duties or import taxes are handled through our global shipping partner. Where duties and taxes have been collected at checkout, you will not be asked to pay them again on delivery.
- Risk of loss passes on delivery to the address you provide; title passes upon full payment.
10. Returns, refunds, and cancellations
- We provide return and cancellation rights as required by law in your location and as described in our Returns Policy.
- Health and hygiene rules: certain products, such as cosmetics and personal care items, may be non-returnable once unsealed or used unless faulty, subject to local laws.
- Where applicable (for example, in the UK and EU), consumers have a statutory cooling-off period for distance sales, usually 14 days from delivery, to cancel an order, subject to the hygiene exception above. See our Returns Policy for the details and how to exercise this.
- Faulty, damaged, or misdescribed items will be remedied in accordance with your statutory rights.
11. Promotions, gift cards, subscriptions
- Promotions and discount codes are subject to stated terms (eligibility, duration, exclusions).
- Gift cards/credits may be region-limited and subject to expiry where permitted by law.
- If we offer product subscriptions, see the Subscription Terms for renewal, cancellation, and billing details.
12. User content and community guidelines
- You grant YOM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and display user content (reviews/photos) in connection with the Site and our marketing, in any media, subject to your privacy rights.
- You represent that you own or have rights to the content, it is truthful, non-infringing, and lawful.
- We may moderate, edit, or remove content at our discretion.
13. Intellectual property
- The Site and its contents, including the YOM Beauty name and all related brand, product, and design names, logos, marks, and trade dress, together with all text, graphics, images, video, and software, are owned by or licensed to YOM Beauty Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws. This includes our registered and unregistered trade marks. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
- You may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law or with our written consent.
14. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Use the Site unlawfully, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malware, or disrupt functionality.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without our prior written consent.
- Use automated tools to place bulk orders or to monitor/pricing-scrape except as allowed by robots.txt or our API terms (if any).
15. Health and safety
- Always read product labels, ingredient lists, and usage instructions. Discontinue use if irritation occurs and seek professional advice if needed. Patch-test where appropriate.
- Our content is informational and not medical advice.
16. Third-party services and links
We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, app stores, or platform terms even if linked or integrated.
17. Warranty disclaimer
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow disclaimers; your statutory rights may apply.
18. Limitation of liability
- Nothing excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud).
- To the extent permitted, we are not liable for: (a) losses not caused by our breach; (b) business losses or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill; or (c) events beyond our reasonable control.
- For paid products/services, our aggregate liability to consumers will not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product(s), unless local law provides otherwise.
19. Indemnity (business users)
If you use the Site for business purposes, you agree to indemnify and hold YOM harmless from claims arising from your misuse or breach of these Terms.
20. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, suspected fraud/abuse, security issues, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases immediately.
21. General
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, form the whole agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Site and any order, and replace any earlier discussions or agreements.
- Changes to these Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you place it, and the current version is always posted on the Site.
- Severability: If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
- No waiver: If we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that is not a waiver of it, and we may still enforce it later.
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours, for example if our business is sold, without reducing your rights.
- Events beyond our control: We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, and we will let you know if such an event affects your order.
- Notices: We will contact you using the details you provide at checkout or in your account. You can contact us at hello@yombeauty.com.
22. Governing law and disputes
- Unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
- Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring claims in their local courts where required by law.
- If mandatory arbitration/ADR applies in a region, we will provide region-specific terms or a local addendum.
